Q&A with Dr. Staggs
We sat down with Dr. Staggs to talk about leadership, school traditions, and what makes Crieve Hall Elementary such a special place.
Cardinals Serve Volunteer Camp: Making a Difference Together
This summer, Crieve Hall Elementary families spent three inspiring days serving our community through meaningful volunteer projects. From building friendships with senior residents and caring for adoptable cats to spreading kindness throughout Nashville, our inaugural Cardinals Serve Volunteer Camp showed students that even the smallest acts of service can make a lasting impact. See how our Cardinals lived out compassion, teamwork, and community spirit!
3rd Grade Squid Dissection Lab Experience
The 3rd Grade Squid Dissection began as a creative way to bring CHES's Wit & Wisdom ocean curriculum to life, helping students make meaningful connections between what they read and real-world experiences. What started as a teacher-led demonstration evolved into a beloved tradition that engages both students and families, reinforcing CHES's commitment to community-centered learning. Thanks to the support of parent volunteers and PTA mini-grants, the event now provides hands-on science experiences that make learning memorable, meaningful, and fun for everyone involved.
